Home Instead, Inc. is looking for a Technical Support Representative to provide implementation and support to Home Instead® network franchise offices and the Global Headquarters staff in Omaha. Work hours for this position will be from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

The Technical Support Representative supports franchise owners and office staff by. . .
 
  • Supporting franchise owners and their office staff by answering technical questions regarding Home Instead network software systems, websites, operating systems, QuickBooks, MS Office, networking, file and printer sharing and basic computer maintenance in a timely and professional manner.
  • Providing remote control assistance to franchise owners’ computer systems to solve advanced computer problems via LogMeIn Rescue when necessary.
  • Repairing damaged and/or corrupted MS Access databases for franchise owners’ software.
  • Developing clear, concise documentation for tracking issues and troubleshooting.
  • Assisting with the testing and rollout of new software releases.
  • Documenting all system information and calls.
Education and Experience Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two years of related experience in a technical customer service environment or a call center preferred.
